Norah Marion Alford (Brown)
December 2, 1925 - March 24, 2021
Our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021 at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis Jack Alford for 50 years.
Her memory will be cherished by her children Jack, Douglas (Sylvie), Diane (Howard) & Karen (Robert), her beloved grandchildren Kristina, Sean, Benjamin, Daphnée, Loïc & Zoé and great-grandchildren Isabelle, Adelina & James. She will also be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends.
A special thanks to her dedicated long term caregivers Rita and Serge.
Norah was a passionate gardener who will be remembered for her award winning flower garden. She was also a community volunteer with 40 years of service with the local Meals-on-Wheels group. As a nature lover she was a supporter of environmental and conservation activities.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In remembrance of Norah’s life, the family requests that any charitable donation be made to your local Alzheimer / Dementia Society or to the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
