<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of the beloved Roger Belhumeur in Montréal, Québec on September 2nd 2020. He leaves behind his mother, Laurence Lavoie-Belhumeur, his wife beloved wife of 30 years, Merlyn Penaflor, his brother, Jean Belhumeur (Carol), Guy Belhumeur, Gilles Belhumeur (France) and numerous cousin, nephew, nieces and friends. <br>In death he is reunited with his late father, Fernand Belhumeur and late brother, Denis Belhumeur (Johanne). <br>Roger was known for being a loving, caring and compassionate individual. Family and friend will always remember him as a thoughtful person for whom, take care of his wife was a priority. Roger was also very well known for his good sense of humor, and his contagious smile. His favorite saying was: «Love is stronger than the police”, which he said numerous times a day almost like a prayer. <br>The family would like to thank everybody for the kindness and support shown to them in these difficult moments. <br>A memorial will take place privately with close family at a later date. <br> <br> <br>C’est avec grande tristesse que nous vous annoncons le décès de M. Roger Belhumeur, ce 2 Septembre dernier à Montréal, Québec. Il laisse dans le deuil, sa mère, Laurence Lavoie-Belhumeur, son épouse Merlyn Penaflor avec qui il a été marié quasiment 30 ans, ses frères, Jean Belhumeur (Carol), Guy Belhumeur, Gilles Belhumeur (France), ainsi que plusieurs cousins, neveux/nièces et amis. Dans la mort, il est réunis à nouveau avec son père, Fernand Belhumeur et son frère Denis Belhumeur (Johanne). <br>Roger était connu pour être un être aimant et compatissant, qui aimait aider les autres. Il mettait toujours sa femme au cœur de ses priorités. Il était aussi connu pour son sens de l’humour et son sourire contagieux, son dicton favori était : L’amour est plus fort que la police. Il répétait cette phrase plusieurs fois par jour, un peu comme une prière. <br>La famille aimerait remercier l’aide chaleureuse des proches qui ont été présent dans ces moments difficiles. <br>Une cérémonie privée prendra place chez la famille proche à une date ultérieure. <br></div>
