<div itemprop="description">FOSTER, Mary DOREEN <br><br>April 5, 1926 - June 3, 2017 <br><br><br><br>It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen, at the age of 91, on June 3rd, at the CHLSD Notre Dame de la Merci. She is now at peace as she joins her predeceased family members - her parents, Stanley Foster and Kathleen Hinton; her sister, Phyllis (Howard King) and their beloved son Gary; her brother, Jack (Jean Bain). <br><br>She leaves to mourn, her nieces, Bonnie (Doug Sansom) and their children Bryan and Corey (Becky); Carol (Jamie Scrymgeour) and their children John (Sarah) and Taylor; 2 grand-nephews, Jaxon and Davis King and their mother Karen (Jamie Macfarlane); as well as many dear extended family members and friends. Heartfelt thanks on behalf of the family go to CJ Gilsenan (cousin), Robert Hyndra and Wayne and Lillian Hogan who lovingly and tirelessly supported and took care of her. <br><br>Doreen was a long time employee of Bell Canada and the Yellow Pages. She was also a member of the Bell Pioneers, a dedicated volunteer at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church and the Father Dowd Home Auxiliary. <br><br>Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and volunteers at the CHLSD Notre Dame de la Merci.<br><br>The family will receive condolences at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 11775 Filion St. (corner Dudemaine) on Saturday, July 8th from 10 am followed by a celebration of her life and Funeral Mass at 11am. <br><br>In memory of Doreen, donations may be made to Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 11775 Filion St., Montréal, QC H4J 1T4 OR Father Dowd Home Auxiliary, 6565 Hudson, Montréal, QC H3S 2T7. <br><br><br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Armstrong Funeral Home, Saint - Laurent. <br><br></div>
